Inhwan Oh’s solo exhibition, “TRAnS,” investigates the artist’s experimental and conceptual art including his works of video, sound, text, participation and immterialzation. His works are considered that they are on the basis of social and cultural criticism often exemplarized by the issue of identity which the artist has persistently investigated. “Trans,” a prefix, is taken as for the title for its meaning of ‘changing thoroughly’ or ‘transverse’ when it is combined with other words. This, in return, reflects the artist’s conviction on our varied translations, an organic coalescence of each element and the conversion of stereotypes.

개념미술작가 오인환의 개인전이 2009년 5월 15일 금요일부터 7월 19일 일요일까지 서울시 종로구 소격동 아트선재센터에서 열립니다. 별도의 오프닝 행사(다과와 음료 마련 등)는 없다고 하지만 오프닝 날 방명록을 통해 선착순으로 '작가와의 대화' 신청을 받는다고 합니다. 저는 시간을 내서 가능하면 꼭 오프닝에 참석해볼 예정입니다. 위의 이미지와 전시 정보 및 소개글은 네오룩닷컴과 아트선재센터 웹사이트에서 가져왔습니다.
